By putting some effort into your lawn now you can really reap the rewards next spring!

Treat patches, mix compost and grass seed to make them look like new.
Remove moss, rake out manually or use electric lawn rake after cutting grass.
Aerate the lawn, Spike it with a fork or an aeriator to improve drainage.
Use an autumn feed when grass is moist. This will strengthen roots.
Finally, a sharp edge always makes your lawn look better. So get the half moon spade out.
