Conifer and box hedges should have their last trim, which will last until spring.

Remove suckers from the base of trees.

Prune border perennials like: delphiniums, heleniums, phlox and remove euphorbia heads.

Harvest: blackberries, apples, plums, cherries, summer carrots and onions as soon as tops die down.

Remove old summer bedding.

You can now start to plant spring bulbs.
